On the 28th of June 1914 the Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, was assassinated. This report by Hans Grüber of Austria-Hungary Constabulary goes into full detail of his death. The remnants of the 1915 report have been typed up on this website*.
